More Recent Big Band Music (not on CD)
1. Querencia : this is my mellow variation on the Peruvian "Lando" rhythm.
2. Fools Gold L kind of a funky swing piece..takes couple of differents turns.
3.I stand corrected:This is a little funky samba thang. Nathan on vocals.
4. A Slippery Slope I'm pretty proud of this one. It features 2 vocalist in stereo: Yooni Choi And Nathan Hetherrington
5. Crossing Paths- This one was my IAJE Gil Evans Fellowship piece. My version on an Argentenian Feel called a Chacarerra.
6. Megalopolis: This is Chris Potter's tune. I did an arrangement for him. This is our rehearsal with him playing!
7.Tell Me Your Secret: mellow slower tune that bounces from 6/4 to 5/4 throughtout
8. The Early bird: this funky little street-beat piece should be below in the "Early Stuff" section, as it is more of a high school to early college level chart, but my band liked playing it so much we added it to our book too!
